
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
" To provide an efficient and friendly bet acceptance and payment service.
" To provide the highest standard of customer service.
" To provide assistance and support to the Branch Manager in the running of the branch.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
" Ensure all totesport customers receive the highest possible standard of services.
" Ensure all bets are taken as per Company procedures.
" Ensure all bets are translated and paid out as per Company procedures.
" Adhere to all totesport policies and procedures.
" Assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe, staff and customer area.
" Maintain agreed standards of presentation within work/housekeeping.
" Provide a high standard of customer service.
" Be aware of Health and Safety regulations and raise any matters that require attention.
" Create relationships with customers.
" Actively promote products and services offered by the Company.
" Be able to deal with general customer queries in an efficient and professional manner.
" Be able to deal with specific customer queries with regard to FOBT and AWP machines, in an efficient and professional manner.
" To take ownership of personal development.
" Support the learning and development of new employees.
" To carry out any other duties considered reasonable by totesport management.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
QUALIFICATIONS
" GCSE maths (essential) and english (desirable)
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
" Good level of numeracy. (Essential)
" Customer service experience. (Desirable)
" Previous experience in the racing/betting industry. (Desirable)
COMPETENCIES
" Customer focus Level 1
" Effective communication Level 1
" Working with others Level 1
ESSENTIALS
" Available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
" Minimum age 18
" Appearance to be of a smart and professional manor.
