We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to work as part of our talented Design team supporting Marketing, Product, Central Operations and Broadcasting in delivering  industry leading campaigns across Retail. Produce and update the in-house magazines for both brands.

Create and deliver eye-catching, engaging designs for all shop PoS, Social Media, Internal communications and digital screens systems featured in the retail estate, ensuring the product is consistent throughout, in accordance with relevant Brand Guidelines.

Key accountabilities

  • Responsible for laying out and sub-editing editorial pages. Preparing and sending all pages as print-ready PDF’s to the external printers.
  • Ensure consistency in the application of brand guidelines in all Retail creative output for both Brands
  • Focus all output on ensuring customer engagement, and in turn driving stakes
  • Consistently create and deliver industry leading campaigns across Retail estate for both brands to attract new customers and steal market share including headline campaigns for Cheltenham and Grand National
  • Look to evolve the Brand Guidelines to help innovate and maintain the quality of the creative produced whilst remaining true to the dual brand values
  • Strive to improve the quality and innovation of creative output by benchmarking against competitors to maintain a lead in the high street
  • Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery and implementation of creative material

  • Responsibility for the design of all printed media in shop and shop windows
  • Creation of static graphics for screen and TV based product; both information pages and marketing content, according to market and customer requirements.
  • Design creative elements for both Ladbrokes and Coral social media
  • Design of internal staff communication material for print and digital

Candidate Requirements

  • You’ll have good knowledge and experience of page design using InDesign
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Suite in particular InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator as key focus for this role.
  • Experience of a form of script writing such as HTML or similar.
  • Experience of SQL coding would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and clarity of design.
  • Ability to manage work and organise priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment, dictated by market opportunities, often to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also individually.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Keen learner, who picks up new skills quickly.
  • Understanding of, and passion for sports is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of sports betting and gaming markets also an advantage
