Racing Post Bloodstock is a brand leader in coverage of the bloodstock and breeding industries around the world.

The team provides daily news, features and expert analysis across our digital and print platforms and publishes specialised supplements on major events as well as the highly respected Bloodstock Review magazine.

The recent acquisition of ANZ Bloodstock News extends our reach and ambitions in Australasia.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong knowledge of the bloodstock world to develop and grow our global editorial coverage.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and confident self-starter with the ability to lead a team, develop writing talent, and execute strategy for excellent coverage of bloodstock.

Exemplary verbal communication techniques and management skills, and a high standard of writing ability are essential, along with thorough attention to detail.

Job purpose:

To deliver editorial excellence for Racing Post Bloodstock by fostering, developing and managing a team of brand-leading writers.


  • Manage, coordinate and develop the bloodstock editorial team. 
  • Lead the planning and organisation of content that is authoritative, creative and informs industry opinion on major issues. 
  • Ensure the daily service of exciting news, features, analysis and audio-visual output in our digital and print products.Display an instinct for Developing themes and patterns in the industry. 
  • Grow the impact and influence of Racing Post Bloodstock working with commercial and marketing teams.
  • Nurture and develop talent.
  • Represent Racing Post Bloodstock at major events and on key issues.
