Job Description


Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of the thoroughbred bloodstock industry, particularly breeding. A working knowledge of racing would be an advantage, as well as good communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. This is a full time position with additional work at weekends, as and when required.

General outline of the duties for this role are:-

  • To assist with the general running of the stud and racing operations
  • Writing and distribution of media releases
  • Help to maintain the industry wide profile of Cheveley Park Stud
  • Help with health and safety matters 
  • Qualified First Aider (or willingness to qualify)
  • Assist with management of estate maintenance and repair programmes
  • Assist with staffing matters
  • Assist with stallion nomination sales and marketing as well as general marketing and social media
  • Assist with bloodstock sales related matters
  • General assistance to the management team
