Senior Pedigree Researcher
Salary: depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Bloodstock department for a Senior Pedigree Researcher. This role will
lead the delivery of Thoroughbred Auction Catalogues in Ireland and, will manage relationships with Irish Auction
house customers in conjunction with the Head of Bloodstock. You will be responsible for developing new business by
providing further services to consignors and buyers at Thoroughbred auctions in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take over the Lead Pedigree research role for the production of catalogue pages for Irish customers.
• Work with the wider Bloodstock team to deliver catalogue pedigree services.
• Help develop and sell Bloodstock products and services particularly related to sales at Irish Thorough
bred Auction Houses.
• Build strong customer relationships in Bloodstock, notably Sales houses, Stallion farms, Breeders,
Bloodstock Agents, associations and Media.
The successful candidate will have experience as a Pedigree Researcher for a major Bloodstock organisation, Sale
Company, or Bloodstock data business. You will have Bloodstock industry experience and gravitas/reputation to
develop high level relationships with key customers. You will be organised and able to be flexible as necessary.
It is intended that this role will based at our Irish office in Naas, co. Kildare, but applicants wishing to work from
Weatherbys Wellingborough UK offices will also be considered. There will be travel associated with this role to other
remote offices.
