We take an "automation first" approach, do you?

Do you want cool projects focused on online sports betting and gaming? Would you like to work on highly reliable systems with low latency, much like the transactional systems of the best financial institutions, but… with fun included? Would you like to work with some of the best Developers, QAs, DevOps Engineers and Project Managers in Leeds?

About us
With over 16,000 people worldwide, we make a huge investment in everyone, offering great career development opportunities. Our people are at the heart of everything we do and we offer a fast-paced environment where we have fun, celebrate success and give you all the tools you’ll need to be your best self. It’s not just our colleagues we look after – we’ve got a responsibility to our customers too and we work hard on our ambition that nobody is harmed by gambling.

Your role in the team
In the Gaming technology channel, we play by our own rules. Our manifesto states that we build from the bottom up, testing throughout the SDLC to build quality into our gaming products. We focus on front end and backend technologies, with a variety of testing techniques with focus on automation and non-functional testing. Customers all over the world enjoy our games, and we want to give them a seamless experience. Your role will develop into; Defining new, and improve existing test scenarios through the agreed tech stack, executing existing tests through an automated build pipeline, undertaking testing using the API where applicable, and setting up and configuring jobs within Jenkins.  You’ll also have the opportunity to work with experts within our business to identify frameworks, tooling and ways of working.

Skills Needed
You’ll ideally have an understanding of test automation techniques.  Agile (Scrum / Kanban) on the job experience is essential along with the ability to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders.  We’d also like to have proven experience in using either Java or JavaScript.  If you have an understanding of NFRs that would also be great.

This role is open for both experienced technical testers, and testers or developers looking to move into automation testing with the above skillset.

What we offer
We’ll welcome you on-board with 25 days holiday (not to mention 8 bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday), a rewarding bonus scheme, healthcare, an attractive pension package, healthy gym discounts and a staff benefits scheme. Plus, our season ticket loan and handy Metro Card loan will save you money getting to work and getting around town. And if you see the journey to work as part of your fitness regime, you’ll just love our Cycle to Work scheme.
