Betfair's director of public affairs, has left the company

19 February 2013

MATT LAMBERT, Betfair's director of public affairs, has left the betting exchange after little over a year with the company.
He is reportedly set to join shale gas exploration company Cuadrilla.

Lambert joined Betfair in January last year from Microsoft UK where he was director of corporate affairs and citizenship.

He is not set to be directly replaced at Betfair, where chief executive Breon Corcoran is carrying out a cost-cutting programme.

Lambert's duties will be divided between group director of legal and corporate affairs Martin Cruddace, UK head of public affairs Susannah Gill and director of regulatory affairs Fiona Russell.
