BETFRED.COM appoint new head of online marketing.

BETFRED.COM have appointed former Playtech commercial director Adele Lawton as their new head of online marketing.

Lawton, who has held a number of senior positions within the gaming sector including with bet365 and Gala Coral over the course of the last 15 years, joined the company in November.

Betfred.com managing director Chris Sheffield said the appointment was a clear indicator of the company's growing prominence within the industry with their plans to expand further including the launch of Betfred Australia in early 2014.

Sheffield added: “Adele comes to us with a proven track record of success and her vast experience in acquisition, retention and product management will prove to be of huge benefit as we continue to grow our business.”

Outlining why she decided to join Betfred and her plans for the future, Lawton said: “Now is a perfect time to join Betfred who have demonstrated tremendous growth in recent years. I see opportunities to further accelerate that growth by leveraging the recent investments in marketing spend across all acquisition and retention activities.
