02 July 2013

THE Responsible Gambling Trust has announced that director of fundraising Karen Churches Peacock will leave them in September after four and a half years with the charity.

Churches Peacock has helped RGT raise more than £24 million since April 2009.

She said: "I have very much enjoyed working for the Responsible Gambling Trust and am both delighted and proud to have played a part in helping the charity increase its annual fundraising income year-on-year from £4.2million to £5.7million."

RGT chief executive Marc Etches added: "Her recent success in inspiring over 40 people from a diverse range of businesses to participate in fundraising expeditions to Africa in October 2013 and March 2014 are a testament to her contribution. We are grateful for all her hard work over the last four and a half years and wish her well for the future."
