Deputy chairman Cooper resigns from TBA board

Cooper, who was elected to the board in July 2014, announced her resignation to the association at a meeting on Wednesday.In a statement, Cooper said: “Available opportunity to expand Normandie Stud has arisen quite unexpectedly, and I quickly realised I needed to devote myself exclusively to this project.“It is, therefore, with reluctance that I tendered my resignation.

”A new deputy chairman will be appointed next month, but the vacant board position will not be filled until the 2016 elections.This year’s vacant seats were filledby Ted Voute and Anthea GibsonFleming.T B A c h air man Julian Richmond - Watson, who succeeded Richard Lancaster at the association’s AGM on July 7,said: “It is with sadness that the board accepted Philippa’s resignation.
