Easterby handed new Tote role by Betfred

ONE of racing's most familiar figures, Roger Easterby, the Tote's director of parliamentary affairs for 14years, has had his role extended and been given fresh responsibilities under the organisation's new owner Betfred.

As director of communications he retains responsibility for parliamentary affairs and organising hospitality, but will also be chairman Fred Done's contact with racecourse representatives.
