FORMER Tote secretary Andrew Lindley is joining the board of TurfTV’s parent company Amrac

19 March 2012

FORMER Tote secretary Andrew Lindley is joining the board of TurfTV’s parent company Amrac as a representative of its 50 per cent stakeholder Timeweave.

Lindley, who left the Tote following its sale to Betfred last year, is acting as a consultant to Timeweave. He will take the place of Peter Bertram, who stepped down as Timeweave chairman in September 2011 but continued in a similar role at Amrac until the end of last month.

The Timeweave board, which comprises ex-Totepool MD David Craven as chief executive and non-executive directors Richard McGuire and Graham Parr, has yet to fill the vacant role of chairman.

Chairmanship of Amrac, which annually rotates between Timeweave and Racecourse Media Group, will be taken over by RMG chairman Simon Ellen, husband of former United Racecourses MD Sue Ellen, at next week’s board meeting.
