Irvine's new team takes shape

New Managing Director George Irvine has set about shaping his team at SIS with a set of key appointments.

Brent Dolan, previously Commercial Director, is made Director of Operations for the whole of the betting division of SIS. Dolan has been with the company for 25 years and has been a key figure in developing the LBO business.

Jack Davison, who joined SIS last year as Director of Sports Data, is made Commercial Director, with responsibility for the retail and online sectors. Davison, who joined from the Press Association, has extensive experience of the e-gaming market and will be ably assisted by Nigel Boardman and Rachel O’Reilly.

James Hanlon, who joined SIS three years ago from Stan James, is made Head of Product Development, reporting to Production Director Jason Barker.

Irvine, who was previously MD Production and Data, was made MD over all the betting division following the departure of Phillip Siers, who was heading up the LBO business. Siers moved to Betfred last month to oversee the new Tote division.

Irvine said: “It's an ever changing environment in both SIS and the betting industry and the changes to the management team's responsibilities reflect this.”
