NADIA GOLLINGS, daughter of trainer Steve, has been promoted to the position of Huntingdon's new general manager.
She joins the course on Wednesday and will report to Jockey Club Racecourses' east regional director Amy Starkey.

Gollings, 28, began her career at JCR in 2008 and has most recently worked as group racing executive and analyst alongside group racing director Richard Norris. She had previously been commercial manager at Nottingham.

She said: "I'm delighted to be joining the Huntingdon team and excited about starting my new role as general manager. Having grown up in the industry, I've had a lifelong passion for horseracing and I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to progress my career in the sport by JCR."

Starkey added: "Nadia's experience within Jockey Club Racecourses and the racing industry will be an invaluable asset in her new role. I'm looking forward to working more closely with her as part of our east regional management team and I have every confidence she'll help the racecourse go from strength to strength in the coming years."

Gollings' appointment follows former Huntingdon general manager Sophie Able moving to the role of JCR's regional sales manager for the east.

Matthew Foxton-Duffy, who was sales and marketing manager at Windsor, has taken up the role of regional marketing manager for JCR's south west area.
