New appointments at SIS…

This autumn has seen several new appointments within both the Commercial and Marketing teams.

Just a few weeks ago we welcomed back former Operations Director, Brent Dolan as Head of Horse Racing Content. While in September, Simon Free joined as Insights Manager and Patrick Alexander joined as Marketing Planning and Activation Manager.

Brent Dolan

Dolan was previously with SIS for 26 years, launching innovations such as virtual gaming on SIS FACTS, dedicated greyhounds channel SIS2, and the Virtual Betting Channel. In his newly-created role as Head of Horse Racing Content, Dolan will leverage horse racing products, with a focus on growth and innovation.

Dolan described the initial six month contract as a return to his roots and said he was eager to take on a new challenge. He said: “I’ve seen SIS go from a newly-formed company to the betting and racing industry’s foremost data and pictures provider. It is now forging an exciting new phase of digital innovation and international expansion. I can’t wait to get started. In my role, I’ll ensure we build on the heart of horseracing while continuing to grow our product and innovation offering.”

Simon Free

Simon’s previous role was with the EMEA Marketing team at Microsoft Xbox, having also worked for Sky Bet and Ladbrokes

Patrick Alexander

Patrick has worked for a sports marketing agency and developed marketing campaigns for betting and gaming industry clients such as Paddy Power, Betfair, Jaxx and Coral, before going on to lead strategic projects at sports conference and content firm Leaders.
