New GC board

31 March 2015

GAMBLING Commission chairman Philip Graf has welcomed the appointment of three new members of the regulator’s board by culture secretary Sajid Javid.
The three new commissioners are Alison Hastings, a non executive director and vice president of the British Board of Film Classification, Trevor Pearce – director of special investigations at the National Crime Agency – and Jonathan Scott, who is the retiring senior partner and chair at commercial law firm Herbert Smith Freehills.
Robert Foster is leaving the Gambling Commission board shortly, while Rachel Lampard will be stepping down in July.
Graf said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have attracted such high-calibre people to join the board.”
