Prest moves on after 19 years with William Hill

29 March 2016

JENNIE PREST has left William Hill after nearly two decades in PR and sponsorship with the firm. The firm’s group communications director Ciaran O’Brien said: “

After 19 years with William Hill we wish Jennie all the best in the next stage of her career. “She played an important role both in public relations and in recent years building and exploiting our horse and greyhound sponsorships. “In recent months our level of horseracing sponsorship has declined and, while it hasn’t been helped by the ABP situation, a more diverse portfolio of sponsorships reflects the change in the betting mix of our customers and delivers a better return on investment.

“We would like to thank Jennie for all her work and achievements over the years and wish her all the best for the future.” Prest said: “I’ve very much enjoyed my time at William Hill and am looking forward to pursuing new opportunities in the future.” Wimbledon stadium manager Keith Hallinan worked with Prest on the William Hill Greyhound Derby and said: “I can’t speak highly enough of her, she’s great to work with and very professional. We wish Jennie all the best.”
